The milestone in Helfta is a small memorial in Hallesche Strasse in Lutherstadt Eisleben in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz in Saxony-Anhalt .

There are two milestones in the Helfta district of Eisleber . One full-mile obelisk stands near the former border with Lutherstadt Eisleben, the other is a quarter-mile stone in the Am Strohügel industrial park, not far from the driveway to the federal highway 180 on the former federal highway 80 , today the state highway 151 . This former Prussian Staatschaussee linked Berlin with Kassel and was built in the section from Langenbogen to Nordhausen in the years 1824 to 1826. The milestones along the section can all be assigned to the year 1826, in which the road was removed.

The quarter mile stone bears the usual inscription 1/4 mile in a recessed oval and stands at a three-quarter mile position between the half mile stone at the Frochmühlenstollen to the east and the whole mile stone at Eisleben to the west. Old photos show another inscription 191.1 , probably the distance to Berlin in kilometers. In 1993 it was erected on an embankment embankment. The shape of the small bell is also typical and can be found on all quarter milestones between Langenbogen and Nordhausen, such as Höhnstedt , Seeburg or Lüttchendorf . It is a listed building and was renovated in 2003 because it was flaking. He is registered with the number 094 16113 in the monument register.
