My best friend (Original title: Mi mejor amigo ) is an Argentine film based on the script and direction by Martín Deus . The film was released on November 8, 2018 and was released in Germany with German subtitles by Edition Salzgeber . Angelo Mutti Spinetta and Lautaro Rodríguez can be seen in the leading roles.

Lorenzo, a teenager living in Patagonia, welcomes Caíto, the son of family friends who are going through a difficult time and cannot take care of him. Caíto is a problematic young man who has difficulty adjusting. Despite the differences, they share a special friendship in which everyone learns a lot from the other. One day Caíto tells him the real reason he had to leave his house. From then on, Lorenzo has to keep a secret that is too difficult for him.
