Meinolf Finke (born August 14, 1963 in Arnsberg , Westphalia ) is a German poet .

life and work

Meinolf Finke was born in Arnsberg, Westphalia , in 1963 . After graduating from high school Laurentianum Arnsberg , the following military service and an apprenticeship as a banker, he began studying business administration at the University of Bamberg in 1987 , which he completed in 1992 with the degree of business administration. The course was followed by language stays in France and Italy . Since 1993 he has been working in the Rhineland in the field of tax advice and auditing.

In addition to his professional activity in the commercial sector, Finke developed his talent in the writing guild, preferably in poetry. His first publication dates from 2006, when he was represented with poems in the poetry anthology "The Seasons of Love". In March 2014, his first volume of poetry, Zauberwelten, was published in the 100 poems series by Martin Werhand Verlag . His second poetry publication followed in November 2015 under the title Lichtgestöber in the series 100 sonnets by the same publisher. His third volume of poetry was published in December 2016 in the poetry series 50 Sonnets under the title Winter Sun. In September 2017, another Finke title appeared under the title Goldregenzeit in the poetry series 50 Sonnets. In December 2019, a best-of volume with Finke's poems was published in the series 250 poems in the MWV under the title flower picking . Meinolf Finke's poetry is characterized by a classic, predominantly romantic poetry, he often writes in the traditional sonnet style of August Graf von Platen .

Meinolf Finke lives and works in Bonn.
