Meisenhanf is a district of the city of Hennef (Sieg) in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The hamlet is located on the slopes of the Westerwald directly on the border with Königswinter . To the north lies hemp . In the south is the basalt quarry Eudenberg .

history

In 1901 there were 19 residents in the hamlet. The heads of the household were the Victory Dealer Theodor Büllesfeld, Ackerer Wilhelm Fischer and Ackerer Anton Limbach.

Until August 1, 1969, Meisenhanf belonged to the community of Uckerath , as part of the municipal reorganization of the Bonn area , Uckerath, and thus also the place Halmshanf, was assigned to the then new, unofficial community "Hennef (Sieg)".
