Meital Dohan ( Hebrew מיטל דוהן,; * August 24, 1976 ) is an Israeli actress and singer .

Life

Meital Dohan grew up in a village in central Israel. As a teenager she started to play theater, just for the fun of it, as she said in an interview: “Acting first came as a hobby; that was pure fun and nothing besides fun ". She later attended Nissan Nativ, one of the most renowned drama schools in Israel. Even during her school days she worked in various theater and television productions. In 2000 she was voted Israel's Most Promising Young Actress for her performance in Best Friends .

She became known in 2006 for an appearance in an episode of the Sopranos and a supporting role as Yael Hoffman in Weeds .

In 2011 her single Yummy was released . In 2012, On Ya followed , which was created in collaboration with singer Sean Kingston .
