Mejdi Chehata (born April 19, 1997 ) is a Tunisian athlete who specializes in the pole vault .

Athletic career

Mejdi Chehata gained his first international experience in 2017 at the Arab Championships in Radès , where he won the bronze medal behind the Algerian Hichem Khalil Cherabi and his compatriot Mohamed Amin Romdhana with a jump of 4.80 m . The following year he secured the bronze medal at the African Championships in Asaba with 5.10 m behind his compatriot Romdhana and Valco van Wyk from South Africa. In 2019 he took part in the Africa Games in Rabat , where he won the silver medal behind the Algerian Cherabi with a height of 4.70 m.
