Mel Brock ( George Melville Brock ; born February 3, 1888 in Thamesford , Ontario , † October 4, 1956 ) was a Canadian sprinter and middle-distance runner .

At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912, he was fourth in the 800-meter run . Over 400 m , he was eliminated in the preliminary round as well as with the Canadian team in the 4 x 400 meter relay .
