Melanie Amaro
Melanie Ann Amaro (born June 26, 1992 in Fort Lauderdale , Florida ) is a pop and soul singer from the British Virgin Islands .
Life
Amaro won the first season of the talent show The X Factor in late December 2011 . With the win, she received a $ 5 million record deal with Syco Music and Epic Records . In 2012 she was nominated for the Teen Choice Award in the Female Reality Star category.
