Melanie Bong
Melanie Bong (born June 6, 1968 in Munich ) is a German jazz singer .
Life
Bong studied at the University of Music in Graz with Sheila Jordan , Mark Murphy and Andy Bey . After studying in New York, she developed her own teaching activities at the Anton Bruckner Private University and at the Conservatory in Innsbruck . She was a long-time member of the Maximilian Geller Quintet , with whom she released several albums, and went on a tour of France with the Memorial Orchestra under Bob Lanese . In 2002 she presented her debut album. She not only sings in her own band, but also in Fernando Corrêa's project Caminhos Cruzados .
