Melanie Scheriau
Melanie Katharina Scheriau (born September 22, 1979 in Villach , Carinthia ) is an Austrian photo model and television presenter .
Life
Scheriau grew up in Spittal an der Drau . She began her career with the Supermodel of the World Contest , which she won in Austria in 1996.
Scheriau ran for designers like Alexander McQueen , Giorgio Armani , Emporio Armani , Trussardi and Jean-Paul Gaultier over the years . She has appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Amica, Red, Woman, FT Mag, Cosmopolitan UK, and on the cover of GQ UK. Scheriau gained his first television experience in various television commercials such as Sunday Times, Barilla and Shiseido and in the music videos Rock DJ by Robbie Williams and Long, long way to go by Def Leppard .
From 2013 to 2016 Melanie Scheriau hosted the Austrian casting show Austria's Next Topmodel .
She has lived in New York with her husband Seth since 2004.
