Melchior Fieser

Melchior Fieser (born September 14, 1803 in Philippsburg , † April 13, 1880 in Gernsbach ) was a German administrative officer and parliamentarian.

Life

Melchior Fieser studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1823 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Freiburg . After graduating, he became a legal intern in 1829. In 1835 he became an official assessor at the Sinsheim district office . 1838 he became a magistrate for District Office Walldürn, whose term Board he became the 1840th In 1842 he came to the district office of Wiesloch as a board member and in 1843 to the district office of Ettenheim, where in 1844 he was appointed senior bailiff. In 1847 he was transferred to the Konstanz district office as a member of the administrative board . On May 22, 1849, he was deposed by the revolutionary government. In the same year he became Ministerialrat in the Ministry of the Interior in Karlsruhe. In 1851 he was also a jurist in the senior administrative council and in 1853 removed from this office. From 1858 until his retirement in 1864 he was government director in Karlsruhe.

From 1850 to 1856 Fieser was a member of the second chamber of the Baden Estates Assembly as a member of the electoral district of Ettenheim . He was also a member of the board of directors of the General Widows and Fire Fund.
