Melody AM is the debut album by the Norwegian duo Röyksopp . It was released in late 2001. The album sold over 750,000 times.
Members of Those Norwegians , Drum Island and Kings Of Convenience performed as guest musicians . The video for the single Remind Me won the MTV Europe Music Award 2002 in the Best Video category ; The band was also nominated in the categories of Best New Act , Best Nordic Act and Best Dance . Some songs were also used for commercials, such as Remind Me for Geico and Eple as intro music for the Mac OS X v10.3 Setup Wizard from Apple .
Thanks to the success of the album, it was reissued with bonus tracks in North America in 2002 and in Japan in 2003. After the album was released, a tour followed as a support act for Moby .
The title Eple was used as theme music of the ARD -Büchersendung the presses used the song So easy for the TV magazine puzzle of the Bavarian Radio .
