In 1925 Esendal published under the abbreviation of his name M. Ş. E. alone 35 stories for the illustrated weekly Meslek Gazetesi . His work, which essentially covers the world of the poorer classes of society, e. B. depicts the peasant, is unaffected by literary trends. Without a raised index finger, he points out grievances in the language of the people. In 2009 he published the tenants of Mr. A. in German in the Zürcher Unionsverlag .
