Menhirs da Casbarra
The menhirs as Casbarra ( Portuguese Menires Herdade da Casbarra since ) that have been classified by Pires Goncalves, are two north and two south of the road from Évora to Valeira or Arraiolos , about eight kilometers northwest of Évora in the Alentejo in Portugal , in the Near the Monte da Casbarra.
They have been overturned and removed from their original locations. The larger menhir , shaped like a stele , is about four meters long and lies on the south side of the street. To the north of the road and the dirt road that leads to Monte da Casbarra is the second menhir. It is round and about 3.5 m long. Although it is unknown where the megaliths of granite were originally, it is expected that they will soon be placed in an upright position. Speculations about cosmic conjunctions, as they are also made with these menhirs, have no basis, since the original place of installation is unknown. Two other 2.2 and 3.7 m long menhirs (Casbarra 3 and 4) are nearby.
