The genus Menkia is a genus of land-living snails from the family of the Mulmnadeln (Aciculidae) in the order of the Architaenioglossa ("old bandworm"). Four types are currently assigned to it, which are only known from empty housings.

The right-hand wound cases of the genus Menkia are 1.85 to 2.8 mm high and 0.6 to 0.9 mm. They have a very slender, conical to almost cylindrical shape and have five to six, slightly arched turns. The last or the penultimate deal increases somewhat. The housing surface is provided with more or less clear, recessed radial grooves and spiral grooves. Under high magnifications, a microsculpture of fine, mostly dense, irregularly arranged pores in the surface of the bowl can be seen. There is no edge or suture under the seam. An angularis and a neck bulge are not developed.
Geographical distribution
The three recent species are limited to a few localities in northern Spain. Another Pliocene species is known from southern France ( Département Hérault ).

The genre was established in 1985 by Hans Boeters , Edmund Gittenberger and Péter Subai . The type species is Menkia horsti Boeters, Gittenberger & Subai, 1985. Four species are currently included in the genus:
