Hermann Pramendorfer
Hermann Pramendorfer (born September 28, 1933 in Aichkirchen , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).
Life
Hermann Pramendorfer only had a simple school education. After he graduated from compulsory schools, he worked as a worker in agriculture .
His political career began in 1961 when he was elected to the local council of Geboltskirchen . In 1967 he became a member of the parish council , and most recently, in 1979, mayor of Geboltskirchen.
In addition, Pramendorfer also belonged to other bodies. From 1973 to 1978 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Agriculture and from 1978 to 1987 chairman of the District Chamber of Farmers of the Grieskirchen district .
In December 1986 Pramendorfer was sworn in in Vienna as a member of the Federal Council, of which he was a member for ten years until December 1996.
In 1988 he was given the professional title of Economics Council .
