Menzelstrasse 6 in Bad Kissingen

The property at Menzelstrasse 6 in Bad Kissingen , the major district town of the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen , is one of the Bad Kissingen architectural monuments and is registered in the Bavarian list of monuments under number D-6-72-114-319 .

history

The house was built in 1905/06 by the Bad Kissingen architect Carl Krampf in Art Nouveau style. It is a three-storey mansard roof with sandstone structure. The property is equipped with an oriel with a curved gable and a northern round tower.

Art Nouveau manifests itself in the deliberate breaking through of suggested symmetries by means of slightly alienated motifs such as bay windows, risalits , curved gables and arbors . The somewhat heavy house detail is a style element of the late Art Nouveau phase by architect Carl Krampf.
