The Mercedes-AMG GT4 is a Mercedes-AMG racing car based on the Mercedes-AMG GT R and built according to the FIA GT4 regulations . It was presented in July 2017 and was delivered to the first racing teams at the end of 2017.

history

The Mercedes-AMG GT4 was presented on July 25, 2017 as part of the 2017 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race . It is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT R series vehicle presented in June 2016 and is an extension of the Mercedes-AMG GT3 .

Vehicle concept

The sequential six-speed racing transmission of the GT4 is mounted on the vehicle's rear axle according to the transaxle principle, where it is pneumatically controlled. The vehicle also has an externally adjustable limited slip differential .
