Meredith McClain

Meredith McClain (* 1941 in Georgetown (Texas) ) is an American German scholar and professor.

Life

After studying German (M.A. 1970), she earned a PhD from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976 . In 1983 she became Associate Professor of German at Texas Tech University (TTU) in Lubbock . For a while she was a member of the Karl May Society (KMG) and co-organizer of a KMG symposium on Karl May in the Llano Estacado .
