Merten Drevs

Merten Drevs (born July 27, 1934 in Köslin , Pomerania ) is a German ministerial official.

Life

As the son of Gustav Drevs , Merten Drevs attended the Lauenburg School of Academics in Ratzeburg. After graduating from high school, he studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from the summer semester 1954 . He was reciprocated in the Corps Saxonia Jena et Bonn in Bonn in 1954 and distinguished himself as a consenior . He then moved to the Eberhard Karls University for two semesters . On May 7, 1955, he also became active in Saxonia's cartel corps Borussia Tübingen and again proved himself as a consenior. As an inactive he spent the SS 1956 at the University of Zurich and the WS 1956/57 in Tübingen. In the summer semester of 1957 he moved to the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1958 he passed the legal traineeship and in 1963 the assessor exam. In 1963 he took over the state chairmanship of Schleswig-Holstein in the Paneuropean Union . Since 1972 head of the tax office in Eutin , he received his doctorate in 1975 at the University of Panthéon-Assas as Docteur en droit . After German reunification , Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg helped set up the administrative structures in the New State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Drevs became director of finances in the Rostock district administration in 1990 . 1990–1992 he was the first State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . Most recently, he was head of the Schwerin branch of BVVG Bodenverwertungs- und -verwaltungs GmbH . He is an honorary member of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Festival . In his first marriage he was married to Ursula born in 1963. Stehr († 1986). The marriage resulted in a son (* 1968) and a daughter. In 1999 Merten Drevs went with Petra geb. Braun's second marriage.
