Andreas Hueber , also Andre Hueber (born November 26, 1725 in Oberperfuss , Tyrol ; † August 28, 1808 in Kitzbühel , Tyrol) was a Tyrolean church builder.

Life

Andreas Hueber was born on November 26, 1725 as the fifth of a total of 10 children of the farmer Franz Hueber (* March 31, 1691, † November 15, 1772) and his wife Gertrude, née Spiegl (* January 1, 1697, † May 29, 1775 ) born in Oberperfuss. His younger brother was the Tyrolean surveyor Blasius Hueber .

Andreas Hueber was one of the most important rococo builders in North Tyrol. Hueber began his training with Abraham Millauer , with whom he worked, among other things, on the construction of the parish church in Ebbs (1748–1756). Andreas Hueber later worked as a foreman at Kassian Singer , whose construction company he took over after his death in 1759.

The buildings by Andreas Hueber include the Itter parish church , the Kirchanger chapel in Kirchberg , the Zell am Ziller parish church, the parish church in Going am Wilden Kaiser , the Mariahilf pilgrimage church on the Hechenberg in Niederndorf , the branch church in Aschau in Kirchberg, the dean's parish church in Brixen im Thale , the church in Brandenberg and the parish church in Brandberg in the Zillertal . His last building was the parish church of St. Petrus in Reith im Alpbachtal .

Andreas Hueber married Maria Anna Kaufmann, widow of Kassian Singer, in Kitzbühel on February 17, 1759. He died at the age of 82 in Kitzbühel on August 28, 1808.
