Mesudiye is a former village in the district of Datça the province of Muğla in Turkey . It is located on the Aegean coast on the Datça Peninsula , which is increasingly being shaped by tourism in the 21st century. In the vicinity of Mesudiye there are several large sea bays, which are used in summer by numerous, mainly Turkish, vacationers for swimming. Since a regional reform in 2014, Mesudiye is no longer a village, but a district of the district town of Datça, from whose core town Mesudiye is about 12 kilometers away.
