Mesut Kumcuoğlu (born September 13, 1979 in Yalova ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Kartalspor .

Career

society

Kumcuoğlu began playing club football in the youth of the traditional Turkish club Beşiktaş Istanbul . Here he received a professional contract in 1998 and continued to play for two years for the youth and reserve team. The 2000/01 season he was loaned to Boluspor and the 2001/02 season to Kahramanmaraşspor .

In the summer of 2002 he left Beşiktaş and moved, including the transfer fee, to the club in his hometown, to Yalovaspor . In his first season he rose with his team as champions of the TFF 3rd Lig in the TFF 2nd Lig . After a year in the 2nd Lig he left this club with the end of the contract.

For the upcoming season he moved to the then first division club Akçaabat Sebatspor . Here he only stayed one season and came to only one league game during this time. The next season he was hired by Ünyespor and played a season here.

In the summer of 2006 he then moved to the Istanbul second division club Kartalspor . Here he reached in his first season the runner-up in the TFF 2nd Lig and thus direct promotion to the TFF 1st Lig .

Kumcuoğlu went through the Turkish U-16, U-17 and U-18 national youth teams.
