The meteocontrol GmbH , based in Augsburg is a German company that specializes in the planning and monitoring of photovoltaic systems has specialized. Meteocontrol is one of the market leaders in remote monitoring. history

In 1998 ist EnergieCom GmbH was founded in Augsburg. It was a branch of EnergieTechnik GmbH from Wollbach (founded in 1979). In 2002, the renaming of the branch took place in meteocontrol GmbH as a joint venture of SAG Solarstrom with a 75 -% - Percentage and the Swiss Holding AG JKP with a 25 -% - percentage. Three years later, SAG Solarstrom increased its stake to 100%. In the following years, meteocontrol GmbH developed into an international company with branches in Germany and abroad and, due to the insolvency of SAG Solarstrom, has been part of the Chinese Shunfeng International Clean Energy since 2014 .
