Metring David ( June 20, 1920 or 1926 - October 7, 2010 ) was a Filipino actress .

biography

Metring David made her film actress debut in the Lebran Pictures- produced drama Malapit sa Diyos in 1953 and appeared in Walang Hanggang shortly thereafter . In the same year she played the role of Eleanor Medina in the comedy film Babaing Kalbo , creating her reputation as a comedian . In 1954 she starred alongside Nida Blanca in the film Galawgaw and in 1955 in Sapagka't Mahal Kita .

In the years that followed, she became known as a comedian, particularly in the 1960s , and starred in numerous films produced by LVN Pictures and Fremel Pictures .
