The metro station Kŏn'guk (건국) or state foundation is a subway station of the Metro Pyongyang . It was commissioned on September 9, 1978 and is served by the Hyŏksin line . The station is located at the intersection of Pulgun and Rakwon Streets opposite Pot'onggang Railway Station in the Pyongyang district of Pot'onggang-guyŏk ( Pulgunkori-dong ).

The 28 × 2.4 meter large mosaic with the name "The Pothong Gang of Paradise" is remarkable .
