The metro station Kŏnsŏl (건설 or construction ) is a subway station of the Pyongyang Metro in the Pyongyang district of Pot'onggang-guyŏk , Dong Taebo-dong . It is served by the Hyŏksin Line and was opened to traffic on September 9, 1978. In the subway station there are two wall paintings with the names "Construction of a blast furnace " and "Builder of the capital ".

Opposite the station is the Ryugyŏng Hot'el , which has been under construction since 1987 and 2008 respectively.
