Mettler is a small town in the Australian state of Western Australia . It is located about 73 kilometers northeast of Albany . The place is located in the traditional settlement area of the Aboriginal tribe of the Mineng .

To the west, Mettler is bordered by Green Range , to the north by Kojaneerup South and to the northeast by Wellstead .
In the south, Mettler has about ten kilometers of coast on the Great Australian Bight , which consists almost exclusively of beach. Here you will find the beaches Cordinup , Salmon Bay and the unnamed beach WA 355 . Off the coast is the island of Haul off Rock .
The Willyun Creek flows through Mettler . There are several small lakes, including Mettler Lake . The two nature reserves Basil Road Nature Reserve and Mettler Lake Nature Reserve protect small areas in the region.
