Trivia
The first describer dedicated the art to the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld . The spider's big black eyes were associated with Lagerfeld's sunglasses and the spider's white hair with his typical Kent collar . The black leg links of the spider also reminded the descriptor of the gloves that Lagerfeld wore. Jotus karllagerfeldi joins a series of spiders that was dedicated to prominent personalities, including: a. Aptostichus barackobamai , Otacilia loriot , Paradonea presleyi and Aphonopelma johnnycashi .
