Mewo Chamma ( Hebrew מְבוֹא חַמָּה Məvō 'Chammah , German ' access to the warm bath ' , English Mevo Hama ) is a kibbutz that was founded in 1968. Mewo Chamma was the second Israeli settlement established on the Golan Heights . The place is located in the Israeli Northern District . In 2018 the place had 434 inhabitants. The name of the settlement "Gate to the Therme" refers to the nearby Chammat Gader thermal baths and was given to the settlement by the Israeli composer and poet Matityahu Shelem ( Hebrew מַתִּתְיָהוּ שֶׁלֶם) given.
