Michèle Roten

Michèle Roten (born 1979 in Tann, Dürnten municipality ) is a Swiss journalist and author.

Life

Michèle Roten studied German, sociology and criminology at the University of Zurich . Roten has a son and lives with her family in Zurich , where she runs the second-hand shop The New New .

For Das Magazin , she wrote the Miss Universum column between 2005 and 2014 . Her first book project was the serial novel Eins bis Sechs in 2008 .

In the 2014/15 season she was a resident author at the Konzert Theater Bern . Her first play Wir sind selig was staged there in June 2015 by Nina Gühlstorff .

In 2012, Roten was awarded the Ida Somazzi Prize for his book How to be a woman .
