Michał Kubiak (born February 23, 1988 in Wałcz ) is a Polish volleyball player .
Career
Kubiak started his career in 2002 at Maraton Świnoujście . In 2004 he became European champion and vice-world champion in the U18 age group with the Polish juniors. From 2005 to 2008 he played for one year each with Joker Piła , AZS UWM Olsztyn and KS Poznań . The outside attacker then went to Israel to see Hapoel Kirjat Ata . In 2009 he moved on to the Italian league to Pallavolo Padua . A year later he returned to Poland and was under contract with AZS Politechnika Warszawska . In 2011 Kubiak made his debut in the senior national team . With the team he reached two third places in the world league and at the European championship and second place in the World Cup . In the same year he came to his present club Jastrzębski Węgiel . With Poland he won the world league . He also took part in the Olympic Games in London .
