Michał Kubisztal (born March 23, 1980 in Tarnów , Poland ) is a Polish handball player . His height is 1.92 meters.

Kubisztal, who plays for the Polish club SPR Tarnów and played for the Polish men's national handball team, is mostly used in the left backcourt .

Michał Kubisztal started playing handball at Unia Tarnów. He later made his debut for WKS Śląsk Wrocław in the Polish league before moving to MKS Zagłębie Lubin in 2003. After the runner-up in 2005 and a third place in 2006, he won the Polish championship with the South Poles in 2007 and moved into the group stage of the EHF Champions League . There he drew attention to himself especially when his team won against SG Flensburg-Handewitt , so that at the end of 2007 he and his club mate Bartłomiej Jaszka were signed by the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin . After four seasons for Berlin, Kubisztal moved to the Polish club Wisła Płock, with whom he was runner-up in 2012 and 2013. He has been playing for Górnik Zabrze since 2013. In the 2013/14 season he was the top scorer with 194 goals in 30 games. In May 2016, in the game Azoty-Puławy against MMTS Kwidzyn (31:22), he scored his 2,000 goal in the Polish Premier League. He became the fourth player in the 21st century to break the two thousand goals mark.

Michał Kubisztal has so far played 57 international matches for the Polish national team, with which he took part in the 2013 World Cup in Spain and the 2014 European Championship in Denmark . After the EM he ended his career in the national team.
