Michael Bernshausen (born September 23, 1983 in Siegen ) is a former German grass skier . He started for TV Eichen in 1888 , won the overall ranking of the German Cup several times and achieved top 10 placements in world cup races and world championships .

Career

Bernshausen achieved several top 10 results at junior world championships . At the same time, he scored already in Germany Cup great achievements, among them the overall victory in 2002. After top-20 finishes in the World Cup , he was the in September 2005 in Dizin , Iran held World Cup nominated. There he reached 12th place in the Super-G and 16th place in the giant slalom. After the World Championship he continued to compete in FIS and World Cup races and finished 30th in the 2005 World Cup season and 26th overall in 2006 . In the 2008 season, Bernshausen only crossed the finish line once in four FIS races and in the three subsequent World Cup races in Marbachegg was only able to cross the finish line in the giant slalom and the Super-G. He was eliminated in the slalom. At the end of the 2008 World Cup , Bernshausen was ranked 39th overall. In the German Cup in 2008 , he was among the top three in the overall ranking for the last time. In the 2009 season, Bernshausen did not take part in any races, in 2010 he again contested two FIS races and four races in the Deutschland Cup. From 2011 he again did not take part in any competitions.
