Michael Bormann (born February 6, 1795 in Hollnich , † April 27, 1860 in Daleiden in the Eifel ) was a pastor, local researcher and historian of the Islek . The Pastor Michael Bormann Primary School and a street in Daleiden are named after him.

Bormann was from 1819 to 1821 chaplain in the parish of Nittel . From 1821 he was pastor in Daleiden. On February 13, 1823 he was appointed local school inspector of the V. Inspections-Berings in the Bitburg-Prüm district.
