Habscheid is a municipality in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the community of Prüm .

Districts

The community is divided into the districts of Habscheid and Hollnich. The hamlet of Niederhabscheid and the Habscheid mill also belong to the district of Habscheid ; The Hollnich district includes the residential areas Auf dem Rehbüsch, Hof Hallert, Hof Unter dem Rehbüsch, Hollnichermühle and Ritzfeld.

history

The places Habscheid and Hollnich belonged to the Pronsfeld condominium until the end of the 18th century .

On January 1, 1972, the previously independent community of Hollnich, with 194 inhabitants at the time, was incorporated into Habscheid.
