Michael Carrington is a former British figure skater who started in a single run .
He became British Champion in 1949 and 1950 and took part in two World and European Championships from 1950 to 1952 . His best result at world championships was sixth in 1950 . His greatest success at European championships was winning the bronze medal in Vienna in 1952 , behind Helmut Seibt and Carlo Fassi .
