Arthur Apfel (born October 29, 1922 in Johannesburg , South African Union ; † September 15, 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa ) was a British figure skater who started in a single run .
At the first world figure skating championship after the Second World War , in Stockholm in 1947 , he won the bronze medal behind Hans Gerschwiler and Richard Button . The European figure skating championship in the same year he finished fourth.
