Henry Graham Sharp (born December 19, 1917 in London , † January 2, 1995 in Poole ) was a British figure skater who started in a single run . He is the world champion of 1939 and the European Champion of 1939 .

Sharp in 1939, the last year before the seven-year competition break due to the Second World War , world champion and European champion . Both times in front of his compatriot Freddie Tomlins . In the previous three years, Sharp had already won silver at both world and European championships . There he was defeated by Karl Schäfer in 1936 and Felix Kaspar in 1937 and 1938 . At the 1936 Olympics , Sharp was fifth. The eight-time British champion came back after the war break that had robbed him of the chance for further success. In 1948 he was sixth at the World Championships and seventh at the Olympic Games .
