Dmitri Sergejewitsch Alijew ( Russian Дмитрий Сергеевич Алиев , born June 1, 1999 in Uchta , Komi Republic ) is a Russian figure skater who starts in a single run . He became European champion in 2020.

Aliyev reached the podium at the Russian Senior Championships for the first time in December 2017 with third place and thus qualified for the first time for Europe - u. World Championships as well as for the Olympic Games . He ended his debut at the European Championships in Moscow by winning the silver medal. At his first Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang, he took a respectable seventh place. He impressed above all with a strong short program for Chatschaturjan's masquerade , in which he was sure to score a four-fold Lutz- triple toe loop combination as well as a four-fold toe loop and a three-fold Axel as individual jumps, which gave him a new personal best of 98.98 points brought in. In his world championship debut in Milan , he finished 7th.

In the 2018/2019 season he was unable to qualify for the European and World Championships, as he was only 5th in the national championships.

In the 2019/2020 season he won medals in the Grand Prix series for the first time , took part in the Grand Prix final and was also European champion in 2020.
