Berg Seelscheid is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Geographical location

Berg Seelscheid is to the east of the valley, opposite the village of Seelscheid. The limit was at the height of the Erlengrund road. To the north lies the Schmitten district , to the east Leienkreuz and Kurtsiefen . The center is the Catholic Church of St. George .

history

In 1830 Berg Seelscheid had 60 inhabitants. In 1845 the hamlet had 72 Catholic and 28 Protestant residents (100) in 18 houses. In 1888 there were 79 residents in twelve houses.

The hamlet belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
