Ohmerath is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

Ohmerath is located in the Dreisbachtal in the Bergisches Land . Neighboring towns are Kaule in the west, Niederhorbach in the northeast and Ingersau in the south.

history

Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .

In 1830 the Ohmeroderhof had nine residents. In 1845 the Ohmrath farm had nine Catholic residents in one house. In 1888 there were 13 residents in two houses.

1910 lived in the Ohmerath Ackerin widow Peter Herchenbach and Ackerer Karl Rosauer.
