Eich is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the North Rhine-Westphalian Rhein-Sieg district .
location
Eich is located north of Seelscheid between the Lessbach Valley and Frauenstrasse. In the north lies Siefen , in the east Heister and in the south the district of Leienhof .
history
In 1830 Eich had 24 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 38 Protestant residents in seven houses. In 1888 there were 30 residents in six houses in the hamlet .
1910 lived in the calibration Ackerer Johann Heinrich Linden, William Lohmar (Parish Council) and widow of Johann, Johann Wilhelm and Robert Weesbach.
The hamlet belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
Hiking trails
The Seelscheider Dörferweg , a 14.8 km long circular route (marking: white S on a black square), crosses the district. The Seelscheid approach to the Bergisches Weg touches Eich at the southern end of the village.
