Siefen is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Siefen is located in the Lessbach Valley in the Bergisches Land . Neighboring towns are Eich in the west, Pütz in the north, Oberheister in the east and Heister in the south.

history

In 1830 Seifen had 18 residents. In 1845 the place had 29 Protestant residents in five houses. In 1888 there were 25 residents in six houses.

The village belonged to the community of Seelscheid until 1969 .
