Steinermühle is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

Steinermühle is located in the Wahnbach Valley on the border with Much . Neighboring towns are Stein in the northwest and Todtenmann in the northeast.

history

In 1830 Steinermühle was mentioned in connection with stone. In 1845 the watermill had eight Catholic residents, in 1888 there were seven residents.

In 1901 the mill had six residents, the family of the miller Carl Stossberg. In 1910 Johann Schneider was a miller.

The settlement, which had grown in the meantime, belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969 .
