Hochhausen is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Hochhausen is on federal highway 56 on the borders with Siegburg and Lohmar . To the north is the village of Straßen , south of Braschoss , to the west on the other side of the street is Birk .

history

In 1830 Hochhausen had 84 inhabitants. In 1845 the hamlet had 92 Catholic residents in 14 houses. In 1888 there were 84 residents in 16 houses.

In 1901 Hochhausen had 78 inhabitants. The families Wirt and Handelsmann J. Bäcker, Ackerer Peter Fritz, Schuster Wimar Fritz, Ackerin Widow Wimar Fritz, Schuster Johann Heimann, Ackerer Jakob Neuhäuser, Ackerin Widow Franz J. Roth, Ackerin Widow Heinrich Roth, Ackerer Heinrich Schwamborn, Ackerer Peter are recorded Josef Schwamborn and Ackerer Peter Josef Voss.

Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .
