Niederwennerscheid is a village in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia . In June 2005 the village had 506 inhabitants in 255 households.

Geographical location

Niederwennerscheid is located in the Bergisches Land on the north-south axis exactly between the main towns of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid: Neunkirchen (south) and Seelscheid (north). It is located in the Bergisches Land nature park on the Wennerscheid ridge , which is bordered by the Wahnbach in the northwest and the Wendbach in the south. The northeastern neighboring town is Oberwennerscheid .
