Rippert is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Rippert is located on a Bergscheid in the Bergisches Land and west of Seelscheid. The hill is formed by the Naafbach and Lessbach . Neighboring towns in the west are Rengert and Breitscheid in the south.

history

The village belonged to the community of Seelscheid until 1969 .

In 1830 Rippert had 58 inhabitants. In 1845 the hamlet had 14 Catholic and 58 Protestant residents (72) in twelve houses. In 1888 there were 60 residents in twelve houses.

In 1901 the hamlet also had 60 inhabitants. The families Ackerer Daniel Haas, Stellmacher Wilhelm Heuser, Ackerer Friedrich Wilhelm Römer and Johann Schöneshöfer, the shoemaker Johann Schöneshöfer and Wilhelm Söntgerath, locksmith A. Unteroberdörster and Ackerer Wilhelm Unteroberdörster are listed.
