Renzert is a district of the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

location

Renzert is located on the slopes of the Dreisbach valley in the Bergisches Land . The small hill is formed by the northern Taubensiefen and the southern Appelbach. Neighboring towns are Wolperath in the west, Hohn in the north, Kaule in the east and Schöneshof in the south.

history

Until 1969 the village belonged to the municipality of Neunkirchen .

In 1830 Renzerth had 51 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 47 Catholic residents in six houses. In 1888 there were 36 residents in seven houses.

In 1901 the hamlet had 25 inhabitants. The families Ackerin widow Konrad Arnold, Ackerer Theodor Fuchs, Ackerin widow Wimar Fuchs, Schneider Wilhelm Haas, Ackerin widow Johann Josef Neu and Ackerer Peter Josef Schmitz are recorded.

In 1910 the farm workers Josef Heinrich Arnolds, Balthasar and Josef Fuchs, the shoemaker Peter Josef Fuchs, the farm worker Theodor Fuchs, the farm worker widow Wimar Fuchs, the day laborers Peter Heck and Wilhelm Holefelder, the farm worker widow Johann Josef Neu and the farm worker Peter Josef Schmitz lived in Renzert .
