Edi Rada (born September 13, 1922 ; † 1997) was an Austrian figure skater who started in a single run . He is the European champion from 1949 .

Even before the Second World War , he made it to the top of the world with seventh place at the European and World Championships in 1938 and fourth place at both tournaments in 1939. After the Anschluss he started for the German Reich and became German champion in 1943. After a five-year break, he won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1948 and also at the Olympic Games in St. Moritz . In 1949 he was European champion in Milan and third at the world championship behind Richard Button and Ede Király .
